Choosing the Right Scooter Bars

Choosing the right scooter bars can be a daunting task, especially when you’re faced with the decision between titanium, aluminum, and steel. All three materials are popular for their own reasons, but titanium bars offer the best of both worlds when it comes to strength and weight.

Titanium bars are incredibly strong and lightweight, making them perfect for park and street riders who need to be able to take a lot of impact. They are also incredibly stylish, with a silver or black finish that looks great on any scooter. These bars are incredibly strong, light, and responsive, making them perfect for even the toughest tricks.

The downside to titanium bars is that they are more expensive than aluminum or steel bars, sometimes costing twice as much. This is due to the cost of raw titanium and the extra effort it takes to form and modify titanium bars.

When it comes to choosing the right bar material, it’s important to consider your riding style. If you’re a park rider or a street rider who likes to tends or break their bars, then titanium is probably the way to go. If you’re looking for a cheaper option, then steel bars are the way to go.

It’s also important to keep in mind that modifying any kind of bar, including titanium bars, could void the warranty and reduce its strength. If you’re considering cutting a slit in your titanium bars to run HIC or IHC clamps, you should drill a pilot hole on the side of the bars just above the height of the clamp and then cut a 1/8th inch wide slit from the bottom of the pilot hole to the bottom of the bars.

Overall, titanium bars are an excellent choice for any scooter rider looking for a lightweight and strong bar material. They may cost more than aluminum or steel bars, but they offer a unique combination of strength and style that is hard to match.
